Opponent Breast Cancer With Sport
Doing more physical activity than an hour a week at the age of 30 years and over, is believed to reduce the risk of breast cancer cell growth in women. The results of this research revealed at the annual meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine’s in Seattle.
In this research, along with his partner Lisa Sprod from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, asking respondents to approximately 4296 women about physical activity they did during his lifetime. The research team divided respondents into 4 levels of age, ie 10-15 years, 15-30 years, 30-50 years and 50 years and over.
Then the research team also asked how long they usually do sports, if less than 60 minutes, about 60 minutes or more than 60 minutes.
From the research results found that the activity of breast cancer cell growth in women who do physical activity at age between 10-30 years old, was not very visible difference. But the growth of cancer cells is significantly reduced in women who actively exercise over the age of 30 years.
Further research team revealed, the group of 30-50 year-old woman who claimed to active exercise, the growth of breast cancer cells can be minimized compared with those who rarely exercise.
Similarly, the industrious group of women doing physical activity for more than 60 minutes as they age over the age of 50 years. The risk of developing cancer cells experienced only a few old women are when compared with women who do physical activity less than 60 minutes each week. In other words it can be concluded that the growth of cancer cells will be reduced in women who are diligent physical activity over the age of 30 years.
