When flu virus from a different species infected swine, the virus can be mutually  combination (exchange swap genetic elements) so that the new virus appears.

Currently, four known types of swine flu virus, namely H1N1, H1N2, H3N2, and H3N1. But the latter, types of H1N1 is many found. This virus is different from the genetic human H1N1 influenza virus that has been circulating globally during the last few years. This new flu virus contains DNA identical with avian virus, the virus of swine and human viruses, including elements of the virus from Europe and Asia swine.
According to the Center of Disease Control and Prevention or the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the virus is spread from person to person.

Transmission of Human
H1N1 virus is only infected the swine, but because of the virus mutation, changed the nature of its and be able to infected human. Being worse again, does not like bird flu virus (H5N1) that is not transmitted from human to human, swine flu virus H1N1 can be spread from person to person.

The transmission from swine to humans is due to contact with infected swine or contact with objects that have been contaminated. While the transmission from humans to humans are similar to the way of ordinary flu, that is through coughing or sneezing or when someone is exposed to this virus from the hands of those who do not wash clean. Humans can also be infected because hold the objects that have been contaminated swine flu virus from other people, then hold the mouth or nose.

So can people contagious swine flu with eat pork? According to the CDC, not, as long as the meat is cooked properly and well. Maturation up to temperature 160 ° F has been off the flu virus and swine viruses and other bacteria.
Since December 2005 until February 2009, there have been 12 confirmed cases of swine flu. But of all the cases, only one person who never make contact with pigs. At that time there is no evidence of person to person in the case.
But since March, the case began to be reported in Mexico and continue to spread to the U.S. and other countries. To remember, flu virus continues mutate. That is why flu vaccines change every year. New vaccine to the swine flu virus has not been found.

Go on stage, shortness of breath can be found. Death usually occurs as a result of respiratory failure. In the swine exposed to H1N1 virus, symptoms usually include increased body temperature, depression, coughing, fluid exit from the nose or eyes, sneezing, difficult breathing, red eyes, and did not want to eat.

Prevention of Swine Flu
Swine flu drugs is the same drugs used for the regular flu or bird flu. CDC recommends antiviral drug oseltamivir (Tamiflu) or zanamivir. However, this drug is more effective if given in the early stage, while damage to the lung cells have not been too severe. There is no vaccine that can protect human from swine flu. Therefore, prevention steps to limit of transmission is very important. Following actions that need to be taken to reduce the risk of transmission if you’re in the swine flu outbreak:
1. Covering nose and mouth with tissue when coughing or sneezing. Remove tissue to trash after use.
2. Wash hands with soap and water, especially after coughing or sneezing. Alcohol tissue can also be used.
3. Avoid close contact with the people who infected flu..
4. If sick, should remain in the home, not go to work or school, not to infected others.
5. Avoid touching eyes, nose, or mouth. Virus is spreading through that part of the body.
