Reduce Cholesterol and Fat with Cherries Cake

Some researchers have found that adding cherries cake to the food menu in the food may help reduce the risk of blood vessel disease and heart and metabolic syndrome, this is the results of new studies on the cherry from the University of Michigan as reported by Nature News. Studies in rats, fed one of two types of food, food with a carbohydrate medium, high fat (45 percent calories from fat, 40 percent calories from carbohydrate) or high carbohydrate foods, low fat (10 percent calories from fat, 75 calories from carbohydrate ).Rats that were given extra cherry powder in the food they have a cholesterol reduction of 11 percent after three months. In addition, rats given cherry powder has 54 percent body fat compared with 63 percent body fat in mice that do not get the cherry powder on their food. Most of the decrease in fat was around the abdomen. So this have concluded that cherries cake reduce fat.
Mice that ate cherries also have a decrease in inflammation marker TNF-alpha of 40 percent and a reduction of inflammation IL-6 was 31 percent. The researchers found that “the genes that produce the second material are reduced in the mice, so that indicates that the fruit of cherries may reduce inflammation at the systemic level.”
